[For a while it was an oddly peaceful dream. Kamek simply wandered the forest without aim or direction, until a vaguely reptilian, bipedal form shimmered into existence before him. Really, any observer would probably find it to look more like a plush toy of a dinosaur than a real creature, much less a threat, but the sight of it was enough to etch a deep furrow into the Koopa mage's brow and prompt him to immediately draw his wand, firing a magical blast at the figure and scattering it to the wind.
He doesn't get to relax, though, for just a moment later the mists converge to form another. It, too, is dispelled, but then it not only reforms but multiplies. Before long, he's got an entire army of Yoshis on his hands, with each spell of his taking out a whole swath of ethereal dinosaurs only for more to summarily take their place. Overcome with frustration, he shouts, or more accurately screeches:]
Get lost, you insufferable lizards!
[Needless to say, he's not paying a ton of attention to where his blasts are actually going, so, uh... Watch out for that?]

[Spooky? He's seen scarier. Heck, he's seen scarier forests. It doesn't take Kamek too long to notice the shifting trees, but frankly, that's not even especially strange by his own world's standards. When he's fortunate enough to catch one in the act, he... walks towards it, and looks up at the silvery tree, adjusting his glasses.]
My, my... Aren't you an interesting one?
[There's no sign of fear on him. In fact, his voice is appraising, almost appreciative.]
