[Is Akechi a bad guy? He's done terrible things, there's no doubt about that. But..... is he a bad person? Knowing what Akechi did for them, and what Shido's shadow told them..... no, he can't say he thinks that at all. He may be a dangerous person, and it'll take him a while to fully trust the guy after an attempted betrayal on that scale, but.....

He doesn't..... want to unnecessarily taint people's impressions of Akechi. Not when he might be trying to turn over a new leaf. Not when Shido isn't here to ruin everything.

It's an oddly dark train of thought for someone who's purring away with his chin in the air, huh? Prompto is totally right, though, he's absolutely a perfect Pure Cinnamon Roll who's never done anything wrong ever in his entire life. He's way too adorable to be responsible for any wrongdoing, like breaking and entering, stealing, robbing monsters at gunpoint or killing them in cold blood, and forcibly brainwashing people without their consent for Justice. That would just be ridiculous!]

.....You don't have to go that far. He's not really a bad person. My friends and I just..... had a pretty serious falling out with him, and we got interrupted before we could finish talking things out.

I think..... now that we understand each other better, we probably won't fight like that again, especially in a place like this.
