Oh, dear.....
Mother is going to be
very
unhappy.
This sounds like a very strange place.
I wonder if she can still see us, even here?
Even if she could, I'm not sure she could help from so far away.
What a shame..... It sounds like everyone here could really use the help, too.
We can't do much on our
own
, after all.....
[They seem to be taking the news..... fairly well, at least? If nothing else, they mostly sound discouraged at their own relative helplessness.]
