Would-Be God's plan was to enact total anarchy by dividing his power with everyone in the world so no one was stronger than anyone else, thus ending the dominion of the strong over the weak by making all the weak strong.

It was a plan with a few problems, obviously.

Also Lin has a few weird hangups about magic (she thinks magic users are all a little weird at best.) so hanging out with a druid would be good. I've got like four people who have offered swimming lessons now but we shall see.
