Lin turns a corner on the way back to the base camp, and sees a vaguely humanoid figure made out of some kind of non-euclidean energy. She let out a startled "Oh shit!" And ducked back around the corner so she could figure out what to do next. Was it going to attack the others? Did she need to figure out how to deal with it? Could it be reasoned with?
