Clown facts from someone who had to directly deal with this clown for 2-3 months straight:

Clowns are unpredictable.

Clowns may become unnessicarily violent and/or deadly. Keep them away from knives.

Clowns desire freedom most of all, which would be more honorable if this freedom didn't enclude freedom from society, morals, and sanity.

Clown hammerspace is dangerous. Sometimes they keep light poles and human body parts in their coats.

Strangely, clowns seem to get along well with the much more agreeable introvert detective. Less so with the introvert detective's pet raccoon.

Apperently, clowns can be good influences to people when they're not trying to stab you or make themselves incomprehensible.

Clowns squeak like rubber toys when booped. Don't ask how this was discovered.

In conclusion, there is still a lot to learn about clowns but at least we know enough to give them some space when approached.

Mai doesn't like to presume she's important, but she does accept that Ardyn called her one of his, and she likes talking with him (by which I mean staring and not saying anything half the time, but she's trying). She understands how he feels about not wanting to be defended re: Discourge, since /gestures to everything that happened because she felt she deserved it, but she's still going to if it ever comes up again, sorry.

Bear-san has a vague awareness that Big Human gave him his robot body, and he wants to be able to do all the cool things Big Human does because that would probably mean finding more things to eat vacuum.

Lin is concerned about Mai. She has met people who act kind of like her in the past. They were people who had been HORRIBLY traumatized and retreated into themselves, putting up an emotionless barrier between themselves and the rest of the world.

BUT she seems to be coping well enough, so as long as she doesn't have an emotional breakdown Lin is prepared to keep on being Mai's friend. If she DOES have an emotional breakdown, Lin will naturally be doing everything she can to help Mai get through it all in one piece.

Jail thinks Faith is 1. hilarious when she's being grumpy about stuff, 2. way more prone to stressing out about things than necessary, 3. a better person than she will ever be.

They both suffered huge losses in the course of heroism, but where Jail said "fuck it" and quit, Faith kept throwing herself into the fight. She's glad that Faith isn't fighting for a lie anymore, and hopes that she has the chance to lay her weapons down and rest, because God knows she's earned it.

Also, she's not gonna be the first one to say it, but just hanging out with her fellow Lighthouse members and being dumb friends doing dumb friend things was honestly some of the most fun Jail's had in years. Sometimes it's nice to just flop down on the couch with leftover takeout and make fun of your buddies for being really bad at video games.

Jail has been in love with you for like a year and half now, minimum.

Seriously, she wants nothing more than to just pick up this beautiful, amazing, flawed, wonderful, deeply fucked-up woman and hold her. Issues and all, she loves her entirely, for everything she is and isn't and keeps trying to be. She would die for Lily, has killed for her by the time of Lily's own canonpoint, and hardest of all is willing to actually try living for her, which is a big commitment for a woman whose primary life strategy was "party like you aren't gonna make it to thirty" for the last nine years.

She still can't really believe that Lily is actually, genuinely willing to date her? She's pretty sure there's no way this can last, and that Lily will eventually come to her senses and move on. But as long as Lily is alive and okay and happy, she doesn't care. She'll do whatever she can for her, for as long as Lily is willing to let her.

Lily's been loving the whole damn world for as far back as she can remember. She deserves to know that someone loves her back.
