What strikes me as strange is that there's been no welcome so far. Like I said, different worlds don't naturally interact. Powerful enough beings can shift between worlds if they know how, but for us to have simply stumbled into this one without deliberate action on someone's part...something is very wrong here. Most likely related to the way everything feels compressed...
