What's their deal?: Seemingly emotionless anime girl learns to say more than 0-5 words at a time sometimes, has an existential crisis and dies (twice), makes a bunch of friends, kind of loves everyone but has no idea what to do with feelings when you're not suppressing them. She also has a pet AI, Bear-san, who's a tiny robot usually but now turns into a real black bear in active Fissures, so she won't really be going into the town this dungeon unless she finds a bearsitter. He's a little ill-behaved. Plotting: Mai is always up for learning about magic in other worlds, hanging around with all the station's animals, and providing stunted emotional support to those who have been through tough situations. She's also been testing out the healing abilities she rejected for years and recently used them to heal the injured Largomare at Arianna's urging, so that'll probably have already made the gossip rounds.
