OOC INTRO - DEC 2018
Hello, and welcome to the OOC Intro for Phantasmal Rift! This post also serves as a CR meme for existing players and new!
Due to the unusual format of this month's dungeon and its extended length, the official IC intro won't be until the first week of January. The usual state-of-the-game update will also be at that time. In the meanwhile, new players can tag into either the first or second part of the dungeon log as they please! (You can also continue tagging your test drive threads, or move them over, as you desire.)
(And yes, you get loot for any further comments you leave on the dungeon log, up to a max of five, same as in-game players. Any loot earned thusly will be appended to the sign-ups under a header with your character's journal name.)
As a reminder, all players get a free pass for activity check this month, so that you can have a relaxing holiday season here at Phantasmal Rift! Points will be tallied as normal on January 7th and posted with the State of the Game update, the in-game weather, and the teaser for the next dungeon at that time. Happy Holidays!

Who are you?: DWRPer and anituber who really likes shows about sad cute girls and wants to throw onions out the window. I now have three characters instead of one, so that's fun.

Canon: Kanon (Airlocked CRAU)
Permissions: Here, of notice especially to supernatural beings.
What's their deal?: Seemingly emotionless anime girl learns to say more than 0-5 words at a time sometimes, has an existential crisis and dies (twice), makes a bunch of friends, kind of loves everyone but has no idea what to do with feelings when you're not suppressing them. She also has a pet AI, Bear-san, who's a tiny robot usually but now turns into a real black bear in active Fissures, so she won't really be going into the town this dungeon unless she finds a bearsitter. He's a little ill-behaved.
Plotting: Mai is always up for learning about magic in other worlds, hanging around with all the station's animals, and providing stunted emotional support to those who have been through tough situations. She's also been testing out the healing abilities she rejected for years and recently used them to heal the injured Largomare at Arianna's urging, so that'll probably have already made the gossip rounds.

Permissions: Doesn't really have anything needing it.
What's their deal?: Snarky and practical member of the Hexaparty who barely qualifies for "sensible." She loves her friends, hates being used, relies on herself too often, uses a wrist-mounted crossbow, and lives in the woods because her parents wouldn't let her drop out of military school when she was 17 so she decided to do it anyway. She is now 21 and still lives out there, no regrets.
Plotting: Just getting settled, mostly. Marie has a lot of forest knowledge since, yeah, so she can help people in the dungeon and learn things about the setting and people in return.

Permissions: Doesn’t have any godmode-y abilities either.
What's their deal?: Julius’s non-canon little sister from a fanservice shooter. Now that I’ve scared most of you off, Kokoro is actually a pretty decent character. She’s a bit of a tryhard, devoted to living up to her family’s legacy and using formal speech and talking about how she has to protect everyone else, but she really just wants to be a normal teenager, even if she realizes it’s a lost cause. Also, she’s sort of a magical spaceship girl? It’s weird.
Plotting: Same as Marie, I need to get her settled and I’m up for a lot of things.
