DUNGEON SIGN-UPS: KEYSTONE SHORE
It's time for Dungeon Sign-ups!
KEYSTONE SHORE
Our first dungeon is the very shoreline where you arrived in this world - after all, no reason to not start close to home! In total there are five areas to explore in this Fissure, the first two of which appeared on the first test drive:
Beyond the Fingers, characters will note a blue, almost watery tint to the air. Out there lies Keystone Reef, another Fissure with unexplored effects.
Additionally, though not strictly part of the Fissure itself, characters will have free access to the remains of Keystone Lighthouse just to the northwest of the Station. Though the tower is a wreck, inside the ruin is a stairway that leads down into the Seacaves, allowing easier access to the beach on either side of the cliff peninsula.
More details on these locations, as well as a map of the area, will come with the dungeon log proper!
DUNGEON-WIDE EFFECTS
There are no dungeon-wide effects in this Fissure, except for the shifting haze that limits visibility. Individual areas may have unique effects.
In future dungeons, watch this space for unique effects spanning the entire Fissure, which can impact characters' forms or alter the world around them. Or any number of other things, really.
LOOT
Loot from the expedition will be distributed as follows;
-> One loot roll for going
-> One roll per fifteen comments on the dungeon post
Bonus loot may be distributed by the mods based upon IC actions. Bonus loot will be posted to the log itself, so keep your eyes peeled for those mod comments! Of course, you might wind up having a random encounter instead...
IC LENGTH
As previously noted, dungeon periods do not run at the game's usual 1:1 day ratio! The total IC length of this dungeon will be three days, March 9th-11th! Future calendar updates will include the IC date noted down on Sundays.
For those who may have been wondering, the androids use a calendar system based off the solstices and equinoxes, but it is approximately the same as an Earth year.
BOSS
A boss encounter will go up Friday March 16, the final weekend of the log. Boss encounters have their own subheader, which any character may reply to. Defeating the boss requires a total comment goal separate from the overall dungeon goal.
Not all dungeons will feature boss fights; others may feature metaplot elements, puzzles, or the like, but end-dungeon events will always go up on the second Friday (one week after dungeon start) for the weekend.
SIGN-UPS
Dungeon sign-ups are used by the mods to manage loot drops. Occasionally, there may be additional information requested by the sign-up, such as opt-in for specific aspects of the dungeon. After sign-ups close, the header comment is frozen until the time comes to distribute loot.

KEYSTONE SHORE
Our first dungeon is the very shoreline where you arrived in this world - after all, no reason to not start close to home! In total there are five areas to explore in this Fissure, the first two of which appeared on the first test drive:
- Bloodsands Beach - A beach with pale sand, surrounded by cliffs. Surely the way the water turns red beneath the cover of the clouds is harmless...
- Skyclimb Cliffs - Rocky cliffs winding around and bordering the beach. There's no obvious way to the top, but perhaps if you're a skilled climber...
- Tempest Seacaves - A handful of entrances in the cliffs, visible only at night due to the glow of the crystals within, lead into these mazelike caverns. A constant wind blows through them, whistling as though the precursor to a storm.
- Glitterstone Beach - A gravel beach accessed through the caves, on the far side of the section of cliff that supports the Station. Roughly a third of the "gravel" is tiny scales in a massive variety of colors.
- The Fingers - These three rocky outcrops, at the end of the cliff that supports the Station, reach into the sea. They're mostly navigable, as long as you keep out of the reach of the waves (quite literally - watch your ankles).

And now, the weather!
- 2/27-3/4; Sunny, with morning mist and the occasional cloud. Things seem to be gradually warming up outside, but it's still jacket weather.
- 3/4-7; Cloudy and overcast most of the day, with occasional very small sunbreaks (ten minutes or less).
- 3/8; Rain, drizzle from late afternoon until the next morning. Full cloud cover.
- 3/9-12; Sunshowers, alternating roughly every hour or two. Rain is steady drizzle when present. Rainbows possible but rare.

-> A stack of mostly-matched ceramic plates. The majority have a orange and red geometric pattern, but two have blue flowers on yellow, and one is plain white.
-> A set of three dress shirts in various shades of purple. One is laender, one is a deep royal purple, and the last is very small darker purple circles on a lighter background. The three share a single hanger.

-> A box of instant gelatin, flavor... moss.
-> This plush stingray is roughly anatomically correct (at least as much as much as you can get with a plush). Thankfully, it's a bit smaller than life size, only about as large as someone's head.
-> A group of 9 socks, all wedged into a corner together. None of them match, but most of them should fit you, aside from one that's quite clearly too large.
-> A thankfully labelled bottle of "super-hyper-active energy boost" supplements. The label is not kidding - taking one causes the world to seem to slow down, or perhaps it's you that's sped up? (It's definitely you that's sped up.) 12 pills remain.
-> A small platter with a trio of full shotglasses on it. One is scented with cinnamon, one is scented with sour apple, and the last smells like coffee. Consume at your own risk.
-> A half-tray full of primroses in assorted colors. Seven in all.

-> A certain familiar-looking sword...
-> A package of red candies that claim to be palatable to vampires. They're individually wrapped and smell like fresh blood. You should maybe not eat them.
-> A set of five nesting storage bins, ranging from a gallon-sized red one to a two-cup sized blue one, in a rainbow of translucent plastics. Watertight!

-> A stack of three cafe salads, complete with dressing and croutons set into the plastic at the top. Provide your own fork.
-> A nicely unopened package of plain, thick white socks. Perhaps a size too large?
-> A pair of those sneakers that light up when you stomp with them. They're not quite new, but the batteries are still in good condition.
-> An off-brand Android tablet with a stylus. Works perfectly fine, except it can't be convinced that the year isn't 2017 no matter what you try to do.
-> A medium garden center cup with four sprouts growing in it. There's no label, but someone familiar with plants would be able to identify them as some kind of squash vine (specifically, they're pumpkins).

-> Four vinyl records - three are classical music, and one is a Beatles album.
-> A set of four leather wristbands - two in natural dark brown leather and two black. They close with a snap, and all have an ivy pattern stamped into them.
-> A small sack of Slush cosmetics, featuring three bath bombs, a facial scrub, and a bar soap. All tend towards spice scents.
-> A navy blue velvet bolero with flaring sleeves trimmed with lighter blue lace.

-> This appears to be a guide to Helmsman bio-wiring, with a focus on lighter vessels. It's a good twenty sweeps out of date, but the technology doesn't change that fast...
-> A plain leather jacket exactly double your measurements in every dimension. ...This seems to be true of anyone who puts it on.

-> A bottle of cheap cherry blossom scented body wash.
-> STEAKSTEAKSTEAK brand ... steak. I don't know what you expected. Raw, but really nice looking, for people who know what they're looking at.
-> These leather gloves are really nice! Except that, if your attention slips at all while wearing them, your hands will begin to tap, tap, tap all by themselves... Hopefully you aren't holding anything sharp, otherwise that might turn into a gentle stab, stab, stab.

-> A leather case full of 18 glass vials. Each contains thorns from a different kind of plant, carefully labeled in somewhat cramped handwriting, ranging from the mundane ("rose," "lemon," and "raspberry") to the more overtly magical ("frosttrap" and "blackvine") to the potentially experimental ("Steffian leech ivy" strains alpha and delta).

-> No amount of washing will get the smell of rotten fruit out of this backpack. If you're willing to look past the fact that any food put inside it molds within three hours, it's probably still useful...?
-> Three baseball caps, all different colors (pink, yellow, green), with the same logo from some California summer fair.
