Sanity might be a matter of opinion, but Goro gets the feeling his opinion is expert when it comes to Aiden's brand of instability. He recognizes a lot of familiar psychological damage there, especially knowing Aiden's also an orphan. He's not sure if it's personal growth or a result of the fact that he can see Aiden trying to be better than his scars that he doesn't hate him...if anything, he wants to help him, so he doesn't keep suffering in such a familiar way.
