OOC INTRO - DEC 2018

Hello, and welcome to the OOC Intro for Phantasmal Rift! This post also serves as a CR meme for existing players and new!

Due to the unusual format of this month's dungeon and its extended length, the official IC intro won't be until the first week of January. The usual state-of-the-game update will also be at that time. In the meanwhile, new players can tag into either the first or second part of the dungeon log as they please! (You can also continue tagging your test drive threads, or move them over, as you desire.)

(And yes, you get loot for any further comments you leave on the dungeon log, up to a max of five, same as in-game players. Any loot earned thusly will be appended to the sign-ups under a header with your character's journal name.)

As a reminder, all players get a free pass for activity check this month, so that you can have a relaxing holiday season here at Phantasmal Rift! Points will be tallied as normal on January 7th and posted with the State of the Game update, the in-game weather, and the teaser for the next dungeon at that time. Happy Holidays!

That's probably the way it should be, really, even at the Elite Four/Champion level. Guzma has several traumas, the rest of Team Skull is more... misguided, and the other teams are just mean.

On one hand, sure. On the other, Michael's concern for good sportsmanship is limited at best, and playing against friends means that he is absolutely used to playing dirty. That's just kinda how the whole group rolled. He'd probably get penalized in an official League match for like, giving his Pokemon weapons and heckling his ten-year-old opponent.

This is not that much of a surprise, given that if I remember correctly that group included Yuri Lowell.

...Which reminds me, Phi has probably heard of Yuri through his canonmate Estelle, CRAU being what it is.

Yepppp, that sure happened. Maybe Yuri will come up in conversation sometime! Michael might be slightly wary of spreading all his friends' names around, though, if Phi catches him after he's run into Ardyn.
